Generosity is one of our core values at Bethel Church.

Following in our Fathers footsteps we have decided to be radically generous on every occasion. We believe that radical generosity is a strategic weapon that God has given us to break the back of the poverty spirit in our nation. As we live out radically generous lifestyles in all areas of our lives, not least of all our finances, we position ourselves in harmony with the ways and the nature of God, which in turn sets us up personally and corporately to receive the release of His abundant blessing.

In every area of life and specifically in our finances we believe that there are principals that God has established, they are the ways that He has chosen to operate, and they reveal His nature and lifestyle. As we align ourselves with those ways we position ourselves to receive all that He has for us. There are two primary principles that we adhere to in regards to our giving and our finances.

  1. Proverbs 11:25 says, "The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will himself also be watered"(Pro 11:25). The principle of sowing and reaping in the spirit of radical generosity.

  2. And, "Honour the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." (Pro 3: 9 – 10) The principle of the tithe - the FIRST 10% of your income being sown into the house/family of God, in other words, your home Church.

God has called us, anointed us, and designed us to be abundantly blessed in the area of our finances. Not only has He called us to be blessed but to be a river of blessing, with our cup continually running over. We invite you to join with us in the blessing.
